Lamberet UK was established in 1979 and until recently only produced refrigerated transport from a Warrington based premise. After 30 years of development and progress we are proud to now be an operator of two sites; our new southern based site in West Thurrock is open and firing on all cylinders.
The introduction of the new site was designed to increase Lamberet's rigid vehicle support and to offer southern based customers more options and availability with our refrigerated transport. The strategic direction of Lamberet UK has seen a significant change recently with the focus now being to fully manufacture and assemble rigid vehicles for the UK market.
This change has also been driven with Lamberet France investing heavily in the manufacturing process for the new rigid vehicle and refrigerated trailer products. With modern techniques now being employed to manufacture refrigerated trailers and with the efficiency that the rigid vehicle range can be produced at, input for Lamberet UK in refrigerated trailers has reduced due to the majority of the work being completed in France at source. This ensures that the product remains competitive and still one of the leading European products.
The Warrington site and company head office will continue to customise refrigerated transport for the UK market where bespoke or dedicated UK options are required. The trailer still forms a vital part of the company's product portfolio and offering.
The concentration now being on the rigid vehicle market sector, Lamberet can utilise the skills and experience to deliver high quality rigid vehicles and refrigerated transport to suit any application. Lamberet offer an extensive aftersales service second to none. Both UK sites have the skills and expertise to support the full range of rigid and refrigerated transport throughout their entire life. We are able to offer extensive repair and refurbishment facilities and dedicated replacement parts service. Lamberet have invested heavily in the aftersales facilities to ensure that the refrigerated transport can remain in service with the minimum disruption.
This aftersales service is extended beyond Lamberet products to all commercial vehicles and not only refrigerated product. Many of the UK's leading transport operators benefit from the skills and facilities Lamberet have to offer in terms of commercial vehicle repairs whether accident damage, routine maintenance or full refurbishment. Both sites offer the full complement of repair and maintenance skills with state of the art paintshop facilities.
